K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Captiva Sport

Today on our 2015 Captiva, we're going to be doing a test fit on the K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view, it's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a small trailer or camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. This is the view you'd get with just your standard factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal, and side-to-side. If we remove the phillips head screw from the back, we can take our mirror out, turn it to the horizontal position for a different view. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Captiva, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Cipa Clipon Towing Mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even backup while towing a trailer or a small camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. Now, the mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees so if you'd like to keep it at that horizontal position for a different view, you have that option. It can also be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal and side to side. Each one of our four clips is not going to interfere with the operation or movement of our factory mirror and we could even still fold it in. Here on the backside, it uses two rubber straps to secure it in place around the factory housing. more
